Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2012
The clutch bag above is part of the Alexander
McQueen collection for Spring/Summer 2012, I chose to include this particular piece
within my editorial because it relates back to my chosen theme of fish, the
delicate filigree shapes that form the handles look almost like coral or seaweed.
I made my own version of this clutch bag for my shoot by gluing a collection of
rings to a disused glasses case which I then coved with cream fabric and
decorated. Although not identical I believe it works well in my shoot and is a
direct reference to this particular piece from Alexander McQueen’s collection.
